Taylor has a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine - one of the most distinguished programs for emerging writers in the country. There, she was the Editor-In-Chief of Poetry for Faultline, UCI's award-winning literary journal. Before this, she was a reader for Tin House Books, and currently does editing work for various clients.
Her work has been published in a variety of zines and small journals. In 2014, she was a finalist for the Montreal International Poetry Prize, one of the most competitive poetry contests in the world. She is working on her first memoir.
